Basada en la éxitosa película que se estrenó en 1992, Aladdin - La Serie nos trae las trepidante aventuras diarias de Aladdin y su pandilla. En la serie la princesa Jasmine es tan protagonista como Aladdin y muchas veces es ella quien resuelve los líos en los que se ven metidos; el Genio, ya no vive en la lámpara mágica y por lo tanto no puede hacer desaparecer los problemas tan fácilmente como antes; Iago el loro, ha cambiado de bando y ahora es fiel a Aladdin ; Abu el travieso mono que junto con Iago siempre causan destrozos; y la Alfombra. En cada episodio Aladdin y su pandilla tendrán que vérselas con bandas de ladrones, bestias, espíritus y hechiceros. Y cuando creen que las cosas recobran la calma, siempre queda el Gran Tiburón de Arena para fastidiarlo todo. Incluso con un Genio, un loro, un mono y una alfombra mágica para ayudarles, Aladdin y Jasmine no podrán bajar la guardia ni un segundo.
